DESCRIPTION:\nGuest speaker, Judi Coburn will talk about her latest book, Rebellion’s Daughter.\nRebellion’s Daughter is a work of Canadian historical fiction woven around the possible life of Eunice Whiting, a sympathizer of the Reformers and William Lyon Mackenzie during the rebellion of 1837 in Upper Canada.\nJudi Coburn, is a retired English and History teacher who worked for 18 years researching and writing Rebellion’s Daughter. Judi learned about Eunice from Charles Dickens’ book, American Notes.
