SUMMARY:ROM Tour Auschwitz: Not long ago. Not far away
DESCRIPTION:Royal Ontario Museum\n“Auschwitz Not long ago Not far away”\n \nThis is a powerful exhibition at the ROM running until September 1.\n\nAuschwitz was created by Nazi Germany as a series of camps to hold captured Russian soldiers and Polish resisters and evolved into one of the centres for Hitler’s final solution of genocide against Jewish people in Europe.\n\nEach visitor receives a headset and personal control that guides them through the exhibition, allowing each person to proceed at their own pace.\n \nRegistration is required.\n\nThe cost is $26.40, but free for ROM members. ARM 12 is offering free admission for the first 10 registrants.\nRegister by sending an email to Allan Hux at allanhux@sympatico.ca by April 25.\n\nParticipants are invited to gather for lunch and thoughtful conversations afterwards.\n\nhttps://www.rom.on.ca/whats-on/exhibitions/auschwitz-not-long-ago-not-far-away ( https://www.rom.on.ca/whats-on/exhibitions/auschwitz-not-long-ago-not-far-away )\n
