“Auschwitz Not long ago Not far away”

This is a powerful exhibition at the ROM running until September 1.

Auschwitz was created by Nazi Germany as a series of camps to hold captured Russian soldiers and Polish resisters and evolved into one of the centres for Hitler’s final solution of genocide against Jewish people in Europe.

Each visitor receives a headset and personal control that guides them through the exhibition, allowing each person to proceed at their own pace.

Registration is required.

The cost is $26.40, but free for ROM members. ARM 12 is offering free admission for the first 10 registrants.

Participants are invited to gather for lunch and thoughtful conversations afterwards.
