Join Us for the Labour Day Parade!
Join OSSTF District 12 Toronto and all affiliates of the Toronto & York Region Labour Council at the 2026 Labour Day Parade on Monday September 7, 2026. This year’s theme is “Defending Workers Everywhere”.
We will meet at the south-west corner of Queen Street and University Avenue, beside the Osgoode subway stop, beginning at 8:45am. Look for the OSSTF Toronto flag amongst the Education worker unions. T-shirts will be available on a first-come, first served basis. The parade starts at 9:30am sharp, and we will launch soon after.
The parade route proceeds west along Queen Street, then south on Dufferin Street, passing the reviewing stand as we enter the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) grounds. The parade route is approximately five kilometres in length, and is walking only.
At the conclusion of the parade, CNE wristbands will be handed out for free admission to the Ex for people who complete the parade route with us.
