Let’s Support Our Colleagues:
OSSTF and Education Unions Rally
Saturday October 24
1:00 PM
Queen’s Park
Although we may have retired from our education careers, our working colleagues at OSSTF still need our support.
As you may have heard, their contracts expired on August 31. OSSTF, and the other education unions, face a difficult contract negotiations road with a Doug Ford provincial government that has not made education a priority. As well, the TDSB administration has effectively been neutered by Ford and his Education Minister Paul Calandra.
OSSTF and the other education unions are planning a rally at various locations across Ontario including here in Toronto.
We ask you to join the rally in support of our colleagues.
Please gather at the corner of Grosvenor and Queen’s Park Crescent just north of the Queen’s Park subway station on the University Line by 12:45 PM. Just look for our OSSTF ARM Chapter 12 Banner.
At the conclusion of the rally, join us for a drink and appetizers at a local pub. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday
