“The 52: Women who have shaped the History of Toronto”

14 ARM Ch. 12 members saw this this wonderful exhibition about 52 amazing women who have shaped the history of Toronto in science, arts and culture, politics, sport, and civic life from the 1850s to the present. The exhibition features archival photographs, historic artifacts, and monologues written by 24 Canadian playwrights. Admission is free and the exhibition runs until December 20, 2025.

After our guided tour, 7 of us went for a lovely lunch at Cheffry’s Bistro at 388 Richmond St. W.

The Museum of Toronto website lets people check out the stories of some of the women.
